In Class today we learned the correct way to set up MLA format, and the correct way to use quoting in our essays. I thought this was a very helpful review.

My name is Clarissa Graciela Garcia, I was born December 11,1995 at Mercy Hospital. My favorite colors are green,purple,and blue. I believe music is life, and the different varieties i listen to are hip hop, rap, rock, and alternative music. My favorite sport is softball, and I play on the varsity softball team here at Olympian High School. The positions I play are pitcher, first base and outfield. Family is an important part in my life. The person in my family that I depend on the most is my little brother Alex.

I thught class today was good. I liked how we read and discussed the papers handed out to us. It was good that we came up on the board and proved to Ms.Amezcua that we knew about what she had tught us. Overall class was good today.

After reading the article yesterday,it made me feel terrible for the child soon to be born!It must be hard growing up with out your real father.or with out a man around the house.

"Final Salute"

Today in English class we were reading the "Final Salute". It made me realized how much people feel about the lost of there family member or friend in the military. I fell really bad for the wife of James J. Cathey she went through a tough time.

Today we read the story "The Final Salute" . It had good examples of description because of how the author made you think and feel . The pictures really stood out because they made you understand the meaning of the story . This text was really interesting and made me think a lot .
